I was born in the U.S. and raised in 2 foreign countries (Japan and Saudi Arabia),
so I grew up being immersed in multicultural activities.
I used to travel quite often, but in recent years, I've not had to chance to do so.
The good thing about living in the Bay Area is that when I feel like I'd like to experience something foreign, I can.
Do a Google search, and you can find lots of stuff going on and people busy organizing classes and events.
...And if you like food, then just drive around town, and you'll find a world of many cuisines.
